The Heritage of Lutheran Education in America

Ascension Lutheran School is proud to be part of a tradition of providing excellence in education. Did you know that the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) currently operates more than 1,800 education programs? Each institution seeks to provide an outstanding education as well as character and faith development for children. At Ascension, we are grateful to have a 54-year history of providing quality academic programs in a caring Christian community. We are thankful to all the founders and leaders who have shaped who we are, and are blessed to now serve over 300 students age infant – 8th grade!

Join us on Sunday, August 20, for a presentation on The Heritage of Lutheran Education in America. Dave Neumann will share his insights on this topic with a presentation during both the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM services in the Bethlehem Room. This presentation is part of Ascension’s 500th Anniversary of the Reformation Adult Education program. You will also have an opportunity to meet the administration of our own school here at Ascension, learn about our programs, and ask questions.
