School Board Members

The Ascension Lutheran School Board, with guidance from the Pastors, has the responsibility to oversee the operation of Ascension Lutheran School. The School Board is comprised of nine voting members elected by the congregation of Ascension Lutheran Church.

Pastor Tim Delkeskamp, Pastoral Liaison to the Board since 2003

DELKESKAMP-TIM-427Pastor Tim Delkeskamp (PT) was born in Brea, California, raised in North Orange County and graduated from California Lutheran University and Luther Seminary. After serving at Mount of Olives Lutheran Church in Mission Viejo, CA for five years, he accepted the call to come to Ascension in June of 2003. He currently serves as the Associate Pastor with a focus on Ascension Lutheran School, Outreach, Worship, and Adult Education. When he is not doing this, he is spending time with his wife Chamie, sons Aidan and Jude and daughter Hannah. All three of their children have attended Ascension Lutheran School since preschool. Their family mission statement is “to do kindness, love justice and walk humbly with their Lord” (Micah 6:8). Pastor Tim serves on the School Board because he believes the School is an incredibly important part of the Church’s mission to “create opportunities for all people to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ.”
