Help Fight Hunger in Our Community through Project Response

Project Response Food Drive
Project Response is an effort in collaboration with Ascension Lutheran Church to address the issue of hunger in our community. Add a few extra items to your grocery list and bring them to school the week of October 17. Collection boxes will be in each classroom. The donated food will be distributed between the Ascension Food Pantry, Lutheran Social Services, and Manna.

Most Needed Items for Food Drive: Paper towels, toothpaste/tooth brushes, cereal (hot or cold), white rice, soap, pinto beans (small bags), ground coffee, coffee creamer (powder), sugar packets, coffee cups, canned meat (tuna, chicken, roast beef, ham), canned soup, canned pasta, cup of noodles, canned pasta, canned beans, canned chili, canned fruit, macaroni & cheese, canned vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, honey, ketchup, mustard, juice boxes, crackers, pasta sauce, instant soups and meals.

Looking for a Family Friendly Service Project?  Your family is invited to come help and sort the donations that have been collected from our school, church, and throughout the entire community. This project will take place on Saturday, October 22, from 8:00-11:00 AM at Ascension. Please sign up in advance to help with planning – Click Here to Signup.
