Welcome to Ascension!

jonasforwebAscension Lutheran School is a private school in Thousand Oaks, CA offering infant and early childhood programs as well as  transitional kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade. We are a WASC accredited school that has been serving the Conejo Valley by providing academic excellence in a caring Christian community for over 50 years. Our passion is to grow the next generation of bold, compassionate leaders. From the time students step foot on our campus, whether they are a few months old or joining us in the higher grade levels, Ascension offers a wonderful foundation for your child’s education: one where their gifts are noticed and nurtured, where they are encouraged to use their talents to make the community and the world a better place. With each school day, we are fostering a life-long love of learning by providing unique results-oriented experiences in and beyond the classroom.

We’re excited to share Ascension Lutheran School with you and trust that you will find it to be a welcoming community where your child will thrive!

Sincerely,

Karen Jonas
